Germaine A. Christianson

Germaine "Geri" Christianson, 92, of Green Bay, WI., passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on Sunday, June 13, 2021. She was born on May 15, 1929 to the late Ervin and Dorothy (Peterman) Hackbarth.
Geri graduated from Fond du Lac High School and went on to get her nursing degree, becoming an RN. She worked for Bellin Hospital in Green Bay for many years.
On June 28, 1952, Geri married the love of her life, John Christianson. Together they raised their two children: Jay Christianson and Kay Metis.
She was a lifetime active member of Westside Moravian Church in Green Bay.
Geri enjoyed lapidary work and was a long time member of the Green Bay Geology Club. She also loved to berry pick and make pies.
Geri is survived by her husband of almost 69 years, John Christianson; children: Kay Metis and Jay (Devon) Christianson; four grandchildren: Zachary, Parker, Brennan, and Mael; nieces: Ann Hanley and Jolly Wellins; brother-in-law Bill (Dale) Christianson. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her two sisters Elaine and Robinette.
A Private Service for the family will be held at a later date this summer.
