Geraldine "Geri" Ann White, 82, of Clintonville, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 1, 2025. She was under the care of Compassus Hospice and her granddaughter Jenene in Mattoon. Born on October 29, 1942, to the late Elizabeth (Michaels) and Francis Palet. Geri married James White Sr. and raised six children together. Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Geri's passion for racing was unmatched, with NASCAR's Dale Earnhardt being her favorite driver. She also enjoyed dirt and ice racing, even participating herself. Her love for racing often took her to the track, where she was always surrounded by friends and family. If she wasn't home you were sure to find her at a race track.
Geri is survived by her children: Robin (Scott Buettner) White, Joe (Loreen) White, Laurie White, James (Dawn) White, Tracy Kiiskila, and Kristin White. She leaves behind 19 grandchildren: Tami (Adam) Demaskie, Amanda Forstner, Jenene (Brian Olsson) Forstner, Clint (Jessica) Forstner, Katelyn (Ben) Jonet, Chanel White, Heather White, Lacy (Jeremy) Christians, Stacey (Andy) Becks, Cody (Ashley) Scray, Ryan Scray, Adam (Kate) White, Kaleanne (Billy) Gwidt, Tyler Kiiskila, Hunter Kiiskila, Ariana (Thomas) Reignier, Julian White, Alex Baker, and James Baker. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and siblings, Terry (Diane) Palet, Linda (Roy) McKeefry, and Christine Wirtz.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Elizabeth and Francis Palet and Norman Pinchard. Soulmate, James White Sr., brothers, Mike Palet and Richard Pinchard, great-grandson, Lifeson Wudtke, and sons-in-law, Peter Forstner and Todd Kiiskila.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Jenene, Brian and Maiden for their devotion, care, and comfort during Geri's final days, as well as Compassus Hospice care and special thanks to Tracy for their extra kindness and care.
There will be a graveside prayer service and burial on January, 18, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Peace Lutheran Cemetery (N5988 County Hwy D,Tilleda, WI 54978)
