Geraldine Dorff

Geraldine Laurie Dorff, age 81 of Green Bay, died on June 14th, 2019 in Green Bay of congestive heart failure. Born on March 17th, 1938, she was the daughter of Russell and Ellen Duprey. Geraldine loved watching westerns, reading cookbooks, and finding words in large print word searches. She was the first cook in the family and would always make sure everyone ate before she did at any meal time. Having her family get togethers was always a fun event she looked forward to which contained football games, playing cards and delicious food to go around. Geraldine was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Green Bay and will be dearly missed by all. Geraldine's maiden name was Krug before marriage. She was married on September 26th, 1964 at the courthouse in Green Bay. She was married for 37 years before sadly her late husband had passed in 2001, making her a widow. She attended East High School and graduated as a Devil graduate in 1958. For employment, she was always a cook at various restaurants throughout her life, but ended at Skytop restaurant in 1996. For her military service, Geraldine served in the VFW, women's auxiliary helping with medical supply packing.

Geraldine is survived by: her six children starting with the oldest Rusty Dorff, Laurie Ziemer, Thurman Dorff, Kelly Dorff, Gerald Dorff and Michael Dorff. Also, with her seven grandkids starting with the oldest Melissa Craw, Jessica Smits, Kelly Duncan, Jennifer Ziemer, Ashley Daniels, Kayla Dorff, and Ashton Chance Stone. Lasty, with the three great grandkids starting with the oldest Madilynn Smits-Craw, Bently Dorff, and Christine Craw. Through marriages, Geraldine was also blessed to get a daughter-in-law Rose Dorff and two grandsons-in-law Scott Daniels and Michael Duncan.

For all those times you gently picked me up when I fell, for all the times you tied my shoes and tucked me into bed, or needed something but put me first instead. For everything we shared, the dreams, the laughter, the tears, I love you with a special love that deepens each year.

A funeral service will be held at 8pm on Monday, June 24th at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel in Green Bay with Pastor Julie Wrubbel-Lange. Just before is the showing which starts at 5pm.
