Geraldine "Gerrie" DeMars, 90, of Green Bay, passed away on January 7, 2022 at Cottonwood Manor in Green Bay, surrounded by her loving family.

Gerrie was born on August 23, 1931 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Laurena Whitmire. She was employed as a CNA at St. Mary's Hospital before becoming a Nanny for many years, later becoming a Grandma at Encompass Daycare until she was 85. In her spare time she enjoying camping, shopping and going out to eat. Most of all Gerrie loved spending time with her family and grandkids.

She is survived by her four children: David (Mary) DeMars, Diane (Robert) Wood, Denise (Scott) Jansa, and Daniel DeMars. Gerrie also leaves her beloved grandchildren: Matthew (Jaci Stone) Sullivan, Mikal Sullivan, Cory Jansa, Cameron (Katie) Jansa, Eric (Kalyn) DeMars, Ryan DeMars, Matthew Wood and Wesley Wood along with three great grandchildren, Dylan, Madi, and Carson. Gerrie leaves a brother, Richard (Ollie) Isenard along with several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Donald DeMars.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 14th from 9 AM - 10 AM at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. A funeral service will follow at 10 AM. Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
