Gerald "Jerry" Bruce Renard, 62, of Green Bay, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.
Jerry was born September 26, 1956 to Frank and Martha Renard in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Jerry joined the United States Marine Corps December 4, 1973 until September 26, 1979. He was employed at NEW Tech Metal for several years.
Jerry had a love for fishing, hunting, working on vehicles, and playing cards. Jerry adored his 6 grandchildren. Even though Jerry had a rough exterior, he was a big teddy bear that would give any of his family and friends the shirt off his back.
Jerry is survived by his children; Shane Renard (Girlfriend, Brandi), Mecho (Dan) Kozlik; parents Frank and Martha Renard; sisters Lu Hebel, Gwen (Lee) Hoffmann, Dawn (Terry) Bostedt; Grandchildren: Hannah & Nicole Kozlik, Jonathan Taylor, Weston, Tristen, & Maiya Renard. Nieces and nephews Billie (Adam) Byrne, Mark Boatman (Girlfriend, Heather Schumacher), and Lee (Heather) Mocco.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 23rd from 9 am - 11 am at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. A service celebrating this life will follow at 11 am in the funeral home with full military honors. Burial will be private.
