Genaro R. Sanchez

Genaro R. Sanchez completed his journey home on Friday, January 13, 2023 at age 41. Born in Sunnyside, Washington to Rosita "Rosie" Sanchez and Jesus Escamilla. He grew up in Washington and moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin. In Green Bay, he received his GED and a certificate for welding, and he was starting his own welding business.

Genaro enjoyed hunting, fishing, gaming, football specifically the Detroit Lions, and being a father. They especially enjoyed bowling and biking together.
He was a loving soul who always wanted the best for everyone and was on his own journey for spiritual healing and growth.

He is survived by his two children, Gavin and Isabella Sanchez; his step-daughter Malena; his parents, Rosie and Jesus; his stepfather, Oscar Basulto; his siblings, Amanda Sanchez, Natalio Sanchez, Leo Basulto, and Aries Basulto; his goddaughter, Tanisha Tome, and the mother of his children, Laura Decleene. Also survived by his nephew, many nieces, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maria Alvarado, his Papi Pedro Basulto, and his cousins, Javier Sanchez and Nicholas "Nicky" Sanchez.
A memorial visitation will take place on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 5 pm - 7 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions (340 S. Monroe Ave Green Bay, WI) with a service to follow at 7 pm.
