Gary Paul Slaght

Gary Paul Slaght, age 62, of Green Bay, was called home to heaven to get his piano tuned on January 4, 2019. He was born September 12, 1956 in Fond du Lac, WI, son of the late Paul F. and Genevieve L. (Higgins) Slaght.
Gary is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jenny Slaght; his sons, Jeremy (Katrin) Slaght and Gary B. (Sunni) Slaght; 8 grandchildren: Marcel, Kisha, Celina, Kiana, Jager, Ryder, August, Emerson Slaght and 6 siblings: Bill (Ugne) Wennersten of Port St. Lucie, FL, Jim (Judy) Wennersten of Negaunee, MI, Marsha (Randy) Gomoll of Green Bay, WI Paula Chinchiolo of Modesto, CA, Patty (Charly) Klein of Appleton, WI and Larry (Miriam) Slaght of Pulaski, WI. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, a sister, Linda Jansen and a nephew, Willie Wennersten.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at New Freedom Church (1255 Russet Ct., Green Bay, WI), Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
Gary's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Bellin Cancer Center, Unity Hospice and Bornemann's for their compassion and care.
