Gary Alan Pelkin, 82, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022 with his wife, Laura by his side.
He was born on January 29, 1940 in Green Bay to Melvin and Florence (Moes) Pelkin. Gary was a graduate of Green Bay West High School in 1958. Gary and Laura Maul were living in Anaheim, California, where they first met on February 6, 1978 and were married on January 13, 1979. Throughout his life Gary worked at multiple companies including Prize Packaging in Santa Fe Springs, California until 1992, Meca in Green Bay, Wisconsin, until 1999, and Econo Products headquarters located in Rochester, New York, selling printing supplies to printers. For Econo Products, Gary sold supplies in their Ohio and lower Michigan territories as he and Laura lived in Marysville, Ohio until 2003 when they moved back to Green Bay. At that time he worked at Waltco Inc. as a courier until he retired.
Gary and Laura loved to travel, doing jigsaw puzzles, barbecuing, spending time with friends, and most of all enjoying their pets, Hans, Buffy, and Sassie. He also loved watching his Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Pelkin; two daughters from a previous marriage; five grandsons; brother-in-law, and three nieces.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Karen DeStarke.

A memorial mass will take place on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 11 am at Nativity Parish (2270 S. Oneida St. Green Bay).
