Fred A. Fromfeld, 93, beloved husband of Nathalie, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 11, 2021. He was born on December 2, 1927 in Merrill, WI.
Fred married Nathalie Wirz 69 years ago and they raised six children together. Fred was employed by Davis Construction and Nicolet Paper Mill. He enjoyed farming, logging, and gardening. Fred was very hard working and always out-worked all of his friends and family.
Fred is survived by his loving and dedicated wife, Nathalie; his children: Debbie (Randy) Olson, Sue (Brian) Mommaerts, son-in-law, Mark Mommaerts, Fred W. Fromfeld, Linda Fromfeld, and Judy Fromfeld; siblings: Myra Genolvaldi, Lila Matsche, Betty Sell, Ruth Henkelman, and Charles (Joyce) Fromfeld; sisters-in-law: Mabel and Mary Fromfeld; grandchildren: Jennifer and Richard Otto, Samantha and Ethan Mommaerts, Angela (Adam) Romenesko, Amanda (Nicholas) Hetcher, Crystal and Brittany Wauters; and 17 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a loving daughter, Jeanie Mommaerts; his parents, Fred and Tina Fromfeld; his siblings: Dennis, Esther, and Paul; and brothers-in-law: Henry, John, Charles, Bill, and David.
Private family services will be held for Fred. He will be laid to rest in Seventh-Day Adventist Cemetery in New Franken. To leave on online condolence please click the share button.
