Frank Nitka, 89, of Allouez passed away peacefully at his home Monday, February 22, 2016. Frank was born June 17, 1926 in Chicago, IL., the son of the late Frank and Verna (Krerowicz) Nitka.
Frank served in the U. S. Navy in WWII and the Korean War. In October 1950 he married Jacqueline (Sylvester) and had four children.
Frank is survived by his wife Jackie; children, Sandra, Bruce (Shelly) and Renee; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son Mark Todd; and his son-in-law, Douglas Morrow.
Friends and relatives may call at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay) on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 3 to 4:45 PM. A funeral service will follow at 5 PM.
Family would like to thank Bellin Hospital 4th and 8Th floors, Dr. MacDonald, and Unity Hospice for their kindness and care.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be donated to Unity Hospice.
