Terry (Francis Terry) Ploederl, 75, passed away at his home on Friday, July 30, 2021. Terry, the son of Francis Joseph and Delores (Stangel) Ploederl, was born on December 23, 1945, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
Terry was a 1965 graduate of Preble High School, where he was co-captain of the football team during his senior year. While in high school, Terry lettered in Football, Track and Wrestling.
Terry is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Monica Lee, his parents, and his sister, Katie Vanden Heuvel.
Survivors include his pride and joy, two daughters, Nadine (Brad) Smith and granddaughter, Luella, Austin, TX and Sondra Ploederl, Denver, CO; his brother, Robert (JoAnne) Ploederl; his sister, Mary (James) Wadzinski; his brother-in-law, Earl Vanden Heuvel; long time friends, Mike Gleffe and Dave Orchad; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Terry's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to his guardian angels, Peggy Maynard and her husband Jeff, for their dedication, kindness, care and also for the peace they brought to his life.
Terry's family also thanks two other angels, his caregivers, Lee and Betty Olson for their exceptional attention to Terry's needs.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Terry's name for The Micah Center in Green Bay, WI.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Newcomer Green Bay Chapel, 340 South Monroe Avenue, Green Bay, WI from 3 pm to 5 pm. A memorial service will follow at 5 pm.
Terry's family kindly requests that all attendants wear face coverings.
