Francis "Fuzzy" L. Mincheski

Francis "Fuzzy" L. Mincheski, age 81, of Green Bay, formerly of Sugarbush, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2024 surrounded by his family. 

He was born on April 20, 1943 to Ben and Mary Mincheski in the Town of Eaton, WI. Francis grew up on the family farm, and assisted his mother with the farm after his father's passing. On July 6th, 1963, he married Lucille Forsythe. Francis and Lucille started their life together in Green Bay before moving to their corner farm in Sugarbush where they spent 48 wonderful years raising their family and operating Mincheski Repair Service.

Francis loved to spend time at the cottage in Little Sturgeon, and enjoyed fishing, camping, dancing, walking, bowling, traveling and visiting with his family and friends. He was devoted to his family and his customers, always going out of the way to help out. He was also devoted to his Christian faith, having attended St. Thomas the Apostle in Sugarbush and Celebration Church in Green Bay. He had a humorous attitude and a quick witted personality. His one-liners will be missed by many.

Francis is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Lucille, his 6 children; Rodney, Jeannette Arendt, Charlotte (John) Kleiman, Brian (special friend Mary), Beverly (Michael) Bosdech, and Brenda (Scott) Zehren, his 15 grandchildren; Arron (Ashley), Lance (Darina), Nathan, Kalista, Jesse (Sabrina), Jack (special friend Amber), Jolisa, Brian Jr., Taylor, Conner (Marissa), Riley, Miranda (Daykota), Abigail (special friend Logan), Eric (Kara), and Adam (Marissa), and his 13 great-grandchildren with one more on the way. He is further survived by his sisters; Lillian Deterville and Susan Dax, along with many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws; Ray and Leonora Forsythe, brother-in-laws; Donald Deterville and Joe Dax, and several in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Newcomer (340 S. Monroe Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301), with the Memorial Service to follow at 6:00 pm.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers at Heartland Hospice and Abridge Cottage Care for their wonderful care and support at the end of Francis' Alzheimer journey. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.
