Francine E. Jacobe

Francine E. "Granny Franny" Jacobe, age 69, of Pulaski, passed away unexpectedly at her home, Tuesday, July 11, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 6, 1954 in De Pere, WI, daughter of the late Alfred and Bessie (Hermsen) Jacobe and was a graduate of Preble High School.

Francine earned a nursing degree and worked as a caregiver her entire career, both in various nursing homes and in home health care. Her caring heart allowed her to care for others throughout her entire life, including her partner, Herb, whom she cared for until she passed away.

Granny Franny's happy place was Las Vegas. She had cards for every casino on the strip and she loved riding through the town on her scooter, living the Las Vegas way! Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved them with all of her heart.

Francine is survived by her partner of over 20 years, Herbert LaPointe; her 3 children: Leeann (Dennis) Rajkowski, Branden (Nicole) Demerath and Monica (Juan) Almanza; 6 grandchildren: Ivan (Alyssa) Perez, Erik Perez, Isaac Trejo, Emiliano Trejo, Uriel Trejo and Nayeli Almanza; a sister, Brenda and a brother, Scott. She is further survived by a special cousin, Dorothy "Dodie" Leurquin, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Alfred O. "Butch" Jacobe Jr.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 5 to 7 PM. A memorial service will be held at 7 PM.
