A Mother's love never dies, it lives forever in her Children, her Grandchildren, and her Great-Grandchildren. Losing a Mother/Grandmother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know, but her kindness, wisdom and strength live on like a legacy of love that will always be with us.
Frances Laura Johnson born August 18, 1947 in Janesville, WI, passed away on June 30, 2021 with her Daughter, Jennifer and Granddaughter, Samantha at her side. Frances was preceded in death by her Father, Glen Feavel, Mother, Alice Tetzlaff, Step-Mother, Ann Feavel, Sister, Gail Miller and recently her forever dedicated, loving Husband, Guy E. Johnson Sr. She is survived by her Sisters Yvonne Kostrewa (Jim) and Marlene Younger. Her Children: Jeffrey Johnson, Jennifer Bowey (Steven Bowey), Guy Johnson Jr. (Michelle Johnson) and Julie Prosser (Bryant Prosser); Her Grandchildren: Cody, Tyler and Matthew Hawley, Samantha Jaeger, Zachary and Savannah Prosser, Paden Johnson, Taylor Giasson, Steven and Stephanie Bowey and her 9 Great-Grandchildren.
Frances not only left her mark on her Family but on anyone who crossed her path. Always saying, 'hello' with a smile on her face, doing her lil Grandma wave to children and putting a smile on theirs. She worked many years managing the Santa and Easter Bunny shops, as the Holidays were always her favorite time of year. She always made the house so festive, bringing everyone together no matter what their differences. She will be missed at these times the most!!
Those of you who knew Frances knew how hard she fought the long fight of pain and suffering throughout her life. Having our Father at her side gave her a way to numb some of that pain, but when he was gone the pain became too unbearable and her body finally had enough. Although we will miss her everyday, we are all at peace knowing she is finally back by Dad's side and pain free.
Frances and Guy Sr. will be laid to rest alongside one another in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oconto Falls, WI, Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 11AM. A celebration of their reunion in Heaven will be held at Oconto Falls Beach immediately following the burial. In lieu of flowers, sympathies may be directed to Newcomer-Green Bay (340 S Monroe Ave Green Bay, WI 54301).
