Fran Weihbrecht

Fran Weihbrecht, age 85, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, February 28, 2016 at her home. She was born September 27, 1930 in Stevens Point, daughter of the late Adam and Evelyn (Kobeck) Stanchik.
Fran married Rudy Weihbrecht, Sr., August 21, 1948 and together they shared 41 loving years of marriage together before he passed away in June of 1989. Fran and Rudy raised 8 children together. Fran's time spent with her family was most precious to her. She also enjoyed trips to the casino, cooking, playing cards and family get-togethers. She touched the hearts of everyone she encountered. Fran will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Fran is survived by her children: Pat (Donald) Hendricks, Susan (Dennis) Anderson, Bruce "Rudy" Weihbrecht, Jr., Dan (Tina) Weihbrecht, Jim (Terry) Weihbrecht, Gary (Melissa) Weihbrecht, Rick (Kelly ) Weihbrecht and Kathy Weihbrecht; many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a granddaughter; 2 great-grandsons and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay) on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 4 to 5:45 PM. A memorial service will follow at 6 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to the family are appreciated.
