Floyd Bellisle Jr., 88, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021. He was born in Marinette, WI to the late Floyd Sr. and Mary Bellisle on June 8, 1933.
Floyd was a long time resident of Green Bay and some of you may know him from his 35 years as an award winning salesman with Van Boxtel Ford. He received an honorary diploma from Green Bay West High School. He joined the U.S. Navy and fought in the Korean War on the USS Wisconsin and USS Missouri. He met the love of his life, Mary Van Laanen, and later married her on July 30, 1955 at Annunciation Church in Green Bay. In his leisure time, Floyd enjoyed visiting local casinos and was always there with a smile and a "hello" or "working hard or hardly working" to everyone. He was an extremely hard worker and could be found working on his yard well into his 80's and teaching his grandkids the value of hard work.
Floyd is survived by his loving wife, Mary; Steve Bellisle, Scott (Tia) Bellisle, Susan (Tom Rithamel) Faust and Sarah Graf; a brother, Jack (Sue) Bellisle; grandchildren: Chris Bellisle, Nicholas (Kellyn) Bellisle, Alan Bellisle, Chelsie Bellisle, Teale Bellisle, Brett Bellisle, Jeremy (Nicole) Faust, Kellen (Jessica) Faust, Cassie Graf and Nathan Graf and many great grandchildren.
