Florence M. Thyssen

Florence M. (Fruzen) Thyssen, age 79, De Pere, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014. She was born February 4, 1935 in De Pere to the late Adam and Verna Fruzen. On August 20, 1960, Florence married the love of her life, Louis "Sparky" Thyssen. She could be described as a feisty lady with a big heart in a little body.

Florence is survived by her husband, Louis "Sparky" Thyssen; children, Susan (Rick) Jankowski, David Thyssen, Lee (Julie) Thyssen, Kathy (John) Heyrman, and Vicki (Bob) Sandoval; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Irene Baeten, Mary Ann (Gary) Renard, and Betty Deneys.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, five sisters, and one granddaughter.

Per Florence's wishes a private service was held. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, De Pere.
