Evelyn M. (Wold) Lund, age 90, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015 surrounded by family.
Evelyn was born in Menominee, WI on January 3, 1925, a daughter of the late Emil and Olga Wold. She attended area schools and was a graduate of Menominee High School. Evelyn married Raymond Lund in September of 1943 in King City, CA and together they raised six children. Together the family lived in Waukesha, WI, Chippewa Falls and finally in Green Bay.
Evelyn was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church and participated in many of their ministries. She loved to cook and knit, she loved to have a good time, however her greatest joy was her family. She will be sadly missed.
Evelyn is survived by her children: Judy (Bob) Beimel of Elkhart Lake, WI, the late Michael (Roxanne) Lund of Darboy, WI, Sandy (Richard) Kittredge of Oconto, WI, Kristine (George) Fitzgerald of Washington, IL, Jeanne (Michael) Coonen of Green Bay and Richard (Sharon) Lund of De Pere, WI; her grandchildren Dan, Doug (Nicole), Christopher (Lena), Theresa (Ryan), Shannon, Katy, Mikala and Michael. She is further survived by her great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, a grandson Eric as well as her two brothers Edwin and Marvin Wold.
Friends and relatives may call at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay) on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 9 to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Santa Maria Nursing Home for their compassionate care over the last two years.
