Eva E. (Reed) Wigman, 97, of Allouez, WI., passed away on Friday, November 26th, 2021. She was born on April 18th, 1924 in Little River, WI., to the late John and Ora (Shufelt) Reed.
Eva attended Lena High School where she became the first of her family to graduate. After graduating, Eva married Bernard Wigman on June 18th, 1943 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Oconto, WI.
She worked for a short period of time in Manitowoc. She went on to live and work in Oconto at the family farm with Bernard until 1962. They later moved to Allouez where Eva continued to live until her death.
Eva was a member and the Noble Grand of Rebecca Lodge in Oconto. She was an active member in the Oconto County Homemakers and St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Eva was a charter member of Antique's Study for over 50 years in Green Bay. She was also a member of St. Anne's Episcopal in DePere.
Eva loved to collect and study antiques with her friends. She enjoyed going to lunch, traveling within the United States, and spending time with her family.
Eva is survived by her two daughters: Nancy Meyers and Kathy (James) Stock; grandchildren: David (Caren) Meyers, Angie Meyers, Sarah Stock, and Jamie (Emily) Stock; great-grandchildren: Reese, Quinn and Sadie Meyers, Stephanie, William and Madison Stock. Along with her parents, Eva is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard; siblings: Ila Borchert, Roy Reed and Lyle Reed.
Visitation for Eva will be held on Saturday, December 4th, 2021 at Newcomer- Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI 54301) from 10:00AM - 12:00 PM. A Prayer Service will follow at 12:00 PM.
