Eugene Robert Kaczrowski

Eugene Robert Kaczrowski, 81, of Seymour, passed away on June 11, 2024 at home surrounded by family. He was born on May 1, 1943 to Paul and Helen (Pasowicz) Kaczrowski in Chicago, IL. On October 3, 1963, he married Joanne Gosz at St. Mary's in Black Creek. Eugene owned Gene's Mobil station in Seymour where he was a full service auto mechanic. Eugene treasured the time he spent with all his family and loved his motorcycle.

Eugene is survived by his loving wife, Joanne of 61 years, 6 children: Mary Jo (Louie) Schmidt, Suzanne (Kyle) Keune, Deborah Coenen, Sandra (Jeffrey) Sigl, Anne (Jon) Shebuski, and James (Nicolle) Kaczrowski; 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters: Dolores Leisgang, Edwin Kaczrowski, Darlene Werner, and Christine (Keith) Mueller; brothers and sisters-in-law: Carol (David) Truyman, Dick (Shirley) Gosz, Dennis (Linda) Gosz, Jean Morrow, Janice Murphy, Jerry (Tammy) Gosz, Diane (Tommy) Gilbert, and Mary (Jim) Kent; further survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and parents-in-law, Leo and Dorothy Gosz.

Friends and family may visit at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 915 Ivory St, Seymour, on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am with a Mass following at 11:00 am.
