Elizabeth J. "Betty" VanDenBusch, age 86, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Thursday, November 10, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 9, 1935 in Green Bay, the eldest of 10 children of the late Lawrence and Ella (Kiehl) Phillips.
Betty was a graduate of Green Bay East High School, Class of 1953. She married Francis "Fran" VanDenBusch, July 27, 1957. She was a talented gardener and enjoyed canning, sewing and wine making. Her children fondly remember their childhood camping trips and berry picking with their mom. Betty and Fran had many activities that they enjoyed together, including card playing and traveling the country with their family.
Betty is survived by her 6 children: John (Karen), Ellen Freward, Kathy (Mitch) Barrette, Brian (Toni), Cheryl McCandless and Andrew; 13 grandchildren: Josh (Sara), Jeremiah, Brandon, Tracie, Tyler, Jon Michael, Jacob, Nick, Greg, Katie, Kyle and Alex; 2 great-granddaughters, Ava and Adysin and a great-step-grandson, Archer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fran, daughter, Mary Theresa, a grandson, Christopher.
