Elaine P. Utecht

Elaine P. Utecht, age 91, of Hobart, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022. Elaine was born January 15, 1931, in Wausau, WI to the late William and Florena Heidemann.
Elaine met Donald Utecht and the two were united in marriage in September 1951. She supported him through many relocations and raised their three children in a loving home. She had many different vocations however, her most favorites would have been the Packer Pro Shop and the Boston Store.
Elaine was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed playing cards, especially bridge. She will be deeply missed.
Elaine is survived by her beloved sons, Allan (Patricia) Utecht of Kiel and Bill Utecht of Green Bay and son-in-law, Tom (Karen) Kolb. She is further survived by her six grandchildren: Katie (Paul) Thibeault, Kristin (Patrick) Humpal, Corrie (Kedrick) Strutz, Megan (David) Clark, Matt and Brittany Utecht; six great-grandchildren: Maddie, Emma, Ava, Sydney, Finnegan, Asher and Jordan; and sister Carol Hettinga.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; daughter, Susan Kolb; granddaughter, Ashley Utecht; brothers: David (Jean) Heidemann and Willis (Betty) Heidemann; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Roland Hettinga, Harold (June) Utecht, Eileen (Lilas) Brandt.
Friends and relatives may call at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay) on Saturday, July 23rd 2022 from 9:30-11:30 AM. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM.
Elaine's family would like to express appreciation to Dr. Severance, the caring staff of Emerald Bay, Lakeland Care, and Heartland Hospice.
