Elaine M. Gehrke, 80, Green Bay, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014, surrounded by her family.
She was born on February 7, 1934, in Chicago, IL.
Elaine married Kenneth Anthony on February 1, 1952. He preceded her in death on December 2, 1985. She was also preceded in death by her son, David Anthony; her husband Warren in April; her parents; siblings, Jack, David and Bob; and her great-grandson, Hunter Schultz.
She enjoyed reading, knitting and spending time with her large family.
Survivors include her children, Diane (Jim) Barrette, Sue Anthony, Sheryl Anthony, Dan Anthony, Jackie (Mark) Burkel, Joe (Renee) Anthony, Laura (Scott) Schultz, Sarah (Mike) Salter, and Thomas (Dawn) Anthony; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Linda (Chuck), Sandy (Ray), Fizz (Janet) and Jim (Christy); nieces, nephews and cousins; "adopted children" Lance & Kathy, Tom, and Kenny.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 6:00pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay. A funeral service will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Unity Hospice and all of her caregivers.
