Ecocate Laes

Ecocate "Jo Jo" Laes, age 34, made her journey to be with her relatives on September 21, 2023. Her journey with her health issues ended at Froedert Medical College Hospital. She was born in Ronan, Montana on January 14, 1989 the daughter of Michael Fixico and Judy Gobert. Growing up, Jo Jo enjoyed being a part of the Pow Wows and was a jingle dress dancer, and going to tribal cultural events. She was very respectful to the elders and helped teach the younger generation to respect their elders. She was united in marriage on October 22, 2016 to Allan Laes. Jo Jo loved to go fishing, and was always there to help where ever she could, at veteran events or cooking meals for people. She cherished the time she spent with her family.

Jo Jo is survived by her husband, Allan, her parents, one brother, Loga Fixico, further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Friends and family may visit at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm with the Oneida Singers starting at 2:00 pm.
