Duane Raymond Berg

Duane Raymond Berg, 63, of Gladstone, MI, unexpectedly passed away on December 10, 2023 after years of complications related to a work injury suffered in 2010.

He was born on June 20, 1960 to David and Joyce (LeGreve) Berg at Two Rivers, WI.

Duane is survived by his children: Jason Berg, Laurin (Scott) Andrews and Audrey (Jesse) Naab; grandchildren: Oliver Naab, Elijah Andrews, Wyatt Naab and Ethan Andrews; siblings: David Berg, Doug (Vicky) Berg, Dawn (Craig) Paplham, Dorothy (Kirby) Smith, Dean (Jessica Robinson) Berg; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Sue Sullivan.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He graduated from Washington High School in Two Rivers in 1978. He worked most of his life as a contractor and a handyman. Duane was an avid outdoorsman who had a passion for hunting, fishing, farming and gardening. He will be remembered for turning his short drives into long ones because he would 1) stop to help anyone on the side of the road or 2) he would see an animal and want to go back to check it out. He was also known for his silly songs and his quick sense of humor. Becoming a grandpa will always be one of the greatest joys of his life.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at 6PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (340 S Monroe Ave, Green Bay) with a visitation starting at 4 PM until the time of service.

He will always be remembered for his strong will, his big smile and his kind heart. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
