Amy passed away peacefully at her home in Green Bay with her husband and daughter by her side, after an 18-month battle with cancer, at the age of 51.
Amy had a great quest for knowledge. She would light up any chance she had to take “another class”. A few of her achievements are: Doctorate of Occupational Therapy, State Licensed Massage Therapist, Sign Language Interpreter, Horticulture, Kinesio Taping, Reiki Healing & much more. She was last employed by Aurora Home Health at the time of her diagnoses, loved her job and her team, except the long ass hours. Amy truly loved helping as many people as she could. Even in the end, she requested much of her things be donated to people in need - her patients loved her & she loved her patients. In her spare time, Amy loved to be with family & friends. She enjoyed all types of crafting, modifying & creating her own unique organization systems, pillows & anything to make her environment more usable and comfortable. She loved to rearrange different rooms while her husband was away for work, she was the biggest budget geek on the planet! Amy also enjoyed working in her gardens, vacationing and camping with her loved one, relaxing by the pool with her family, her grand puppy Ezra, a cold Jaggy Bomb on a hot day, and books… so many books! Amy was the most kind, sweetest, thoughtful person with nothing but a positive energy & outlook on life with the most beautiful smile and laugh that will be missed by so many.
Amy is survived by her very loving & handsome husband Adam Heiser, daughter Ashley Firkowski, mother Lois Deering, & sister Andrea Sell. Amy was preceded in death by her father James Sell & stepdad Bob Deering.
