Dorothy E. Tyson, 84, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2015.

She was born on February 24, 1930, in Detroit, MI, to the late Elmer & Florence Parks.

Dorothy was married to John Janas. He preceded her in death.

She was the owner of two craft stores, one in Cedarburg, WI, and Kenosha, WI, from 1982-1989, when she retired.

Dorothy was married to Robert J. Tyson from 1962 until his death in 1981.
She was a member of Kenosha Stamp & Cover Club. She enjoyed needle work, crocheting, knitting, and built miniatures.

Survivors include her children, Geraldine (Dwayne) Kollmann, Diana Tait, Glen M. Janas, Pamela (Stewart) Clinton, William Tyson and Michael (Tina) Tyson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Bruce Parks; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her son, Robert C. Tyson; siblings, William & Rodney Parks.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am until 11:00am on Friday, February 13, 2015, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 7307 40th Ave., Kenosha, WI. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Friday at the church with Fr. Roman Stikel officiating. Burial will be at St. James Cemetery.
