Dorothy I.(Pankratz) Thomas, 91, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015. Daughter of the late Wenzel and Pauline (Tuyles) Pankratz, Dorothy was born August 17, 1924. She graduated from West High School. On November 23, 1946, she married Donald Thomas.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Diane and Michael Burns of Fond du Lac. Three granddaughters and their husbands: Kelly (Aaron) Sadoff of North Fond du Lac, Kristeen (Ryan) Pelot of Oshkosh and Katie (Matthew) Logan of Sun Prairie.
Greatest Grammy to Paige, Lilly and Ethan Sadoff; Korynne Burns, Claire and Megan Rose Pelot and Kaleb & Kameron Logan.
She is also survived by her sisters: Helen Bergner of Green Bay and Marge (Merlin) Kropp of Mill Center, and a brother-in-law, Gordy Vanden Heuvel of Green Bay. She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Sister Marianne Thomas, CSJ of St. Louis, MO as well as her nieces & nephews.
The family will greet relatives and friends Saturday at ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CATHEDRAL (140 S. Monroe Ave, Green Bay) from 9:30 to 10:45 am. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with Father Joseph Dorner officiating.
Burial at Allouez Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Unity Hospice.

The family would like to offer a warm note of appreciation to Odd Fellow Home staff for their wonderful care and compassion. Also, a heartfelt thank you to the Staff of Unity Hospice for their loving attention shown to my Mom- your kindness will never be forgotten. Mom's journey was also blessed by the many family and friends who were with her along the way.
