Heinrich, Dorothy L. (nee Raschke), 94, Green Bay, died August 16, 2014. She was born, July 8, 1920 to the late Harry A. & Lorena (Phillips) Raschke. Dorothy was the wife of the late Harry H. Heinrich of Green Bay, WI
She served in WAVES, attending Hunter College for preparation and was stationed in Pensacola, FL during World War II.
Dorothy did her undergraduate studies at Silver Lake College, Manitowoc, and earned her master's in Library Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She worked for many years as special collections librarian, curator of the University Archives and curator of the Area Research Center at the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay. She received the Community Outreach Award from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. She had a special interest in archiving the Wisconsin Belgian-American community and was active in numerous archiving and collecting societies. She pursued a passion in weaving.
Dorothy was the sister of Merriam J. Grundy (Frank) of Dublin, OH, and the late Harry R. Raschke (Marjorie) of Bethlehem, PA.
She was the aunt of Frank Grundy, the late Merri Grundy, Renee Raschke, Mark Raschke, Rebecca Bell, Suzanne Fontaine, and J. Hope Raschke.
