Dorothy "Dottie" Mae Schneider

Dorothy Mae Schneider, 91, of Denmark, passed away on January 1, 2025 peacefully in her sleep at home. Dottie was born on August 17, 1933 to Hilbert and Marion Johnson.

She is survived by her two daughters: Pamela (Rob) Siegel and Kaye (Robbie) Kane, four grandchildren: Jennifer (Chad) Bear, Christopher (Dana) Siegel, Travis (Ashley) Kane, and Courtney (Jared Smith); seven great-grandchildren: Ella and Maxwell Bear, Evelyn and Aubree Siegel, Rylie and Reese Smith and Colton Kane; a sister-in-law, Patricia (Schultz) Johnson and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard (2021), her parents and step-mom: Hilbert and Marion (Linsmeyer) and Harriet (Heimerl) Johnson; her brothers, Clyde and Wayne Johnson, and a sister, Jean (Johnson) Larsen.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at Our Savior's Lutheran Church (435 Wisconsin Ave, Denmark, WI 54208) with Reverend Andrew D. Zoerb officiating. A Memorial Service will take place immediately following visitation at 11:00 am. Burial will be in West Danish Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Dottie's name for Our Saviors Lutheran Church.
