Loving and graceful, Dorothy Lee Cload (née Harris) entered her heavenly rest and celebration on June 13, 2024, in Green Bay, WI.
Dorothy was born on September 22, 1937, in the city of Chicago, IL to Daniel and Lorraine Harris (Shields). Her presence brought warmth and joy to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Dorothy's journey through life was one filled with kindness and unwavering strength. Her trust in Jesus at an early age is reflected by her touching the hearts of many with her gentle spirit: teaching Sunday school and fostering children in Lansing, Illinois; supporting ministries in Fort Myers, Florida; and serving in the Agape Center and House of Hope on Merritt Island, Florida. Her organizing ability and calm dedication made her an endearing church secretary. Her wisdom and guidance was a source of comfort for her friends and loved ones, who cherished her and will dearly miss her. Dorothy’s grandchildren remember her with affection, with a presence stronger than words.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband, Albert H. Cload II; her children, Mark A. Cload, Albert H. Cload III and Lorraine R. Pritchard; her grandchildren, Chad Cload, Justin Cload, Andrew Cload, Raymond Cload, Albert Cload IV, Brandon Cload, Isaiah Pritchard, Danielle Pritchard and Alethea Pritchard; and three great-grandchildren, Sara, Jonathan, and Carly Cload; her brother, Daniel A. Harris, Jr.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, James D. Cload.
