Dorothy A. (Riebe) Wohlfeil, 80, Green Bay, passed peacefully with her family by her side Tuesday, May 21, 2013. She was born March 26, 1933 in Green Bay, to the late Walter and Orlene (Buttrick) Riebe.
Dorothy worked as a telephone operator and dry cleaning clerk before becoming a stay at home mom until her children were in school full time. She then worked at Lamers Bus Lines for over 18 years where her favorite job was driving special needs children. Dorothy then worked for Humana, at various jobs, until her retirement at age 77.
Dorothy loved and devoted herself to her children and grandchildren's happiness. She loved to sing and had the voice of an angel. Her radiant smile and wit will be missed by us all!
Survivors include her 4 children: Wendy (David) Jaegers, Jon Wohlfeil, Richard Wohlfeil, and Bobbie (Dick) Baker; 3 grandchildren: Westley, Ean, and Zoie Baker; brother, Walter (Jackie) Riebe; and sister, Katherine (David) Sanchez-Booker.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Inez Porter-Riebe; and brother, Donald Riebe.
Family and friends may call Friday, May 24, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. Sharing of Memories will take place at the funeral home on Friday at 7:00pm.
Dorothy's family would like to express gratitude to Christie, Jessica, Unity Hospice, Terri Akerboom (her caregiving angel), Curative Workshop, and all involved in her care.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
