Dorothy A. Dickerson, 79, of Green Bay, beloved wife of the late Dale Dickerson, departed this life on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at her home.
Dorothy was born on February 23, 1937 in Crivitz, WI, daughter of the late Alois and Marion (Meger) Krzewina. Dorothy owned and operated a Merle Norman Boutique in Green Bay, and later in Hemit, CA. She was a graduate from Crivitz High School Class of 1955. Dorothy enjoyed music, singing, and knitting. She was a great cook and seamstress and had a great sense of fashion. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with family, made friends easily, and enjoyed her many friendships. Dorothy loved life and enjoyed it's many moments, so at the close of her life we can only say "NA ZDROWIE!"
Dorothy is survived by her children: Thomas P. (Ann) Petri, Mary (Randy) Peters, Susan (Andy) Condon, and Jane (Jeff) Sorensen. She also leaves her siblings: Al (Carol) Krzewina, Ken Krzewina, Maxine Kaufman, Jackie (Dan) Petraitis, Mary Jane Krzewina, Joe (Linda) Krzewina, Mark Krzewina, Theresa Krzewina, Debra (David) Tupper, Laurel Braden, and Christopher (Lisa) Krzewina along with numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy also leaves her beloved grandchildren: Carrie Kirsch, Ryan Peters, Sarah Peters, Whitney Anhorn, Tanner Sorensen, and Morgan Condon along with 7 great grandchildren. Dorothy is preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas A. Petri, along with two sisters: Mounique "Ruth" Krzewina, Ann Thuecks, and a brother, Paul Krzewina.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 11 AM - 1 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. A Celebration of Life and time of sharing will follow at 1 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
