Donna Marie Johnson (Levy), 82 of Manitowoc, formerly of Comstock, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loving staff of Manitowoc Healthcare on July 11, 2017.
Donna was born August 20, 1934 to Richard and Agatha Yakesh of Cooks Valley, WI. She was raised on the family farm and helped her family run the Blue Moon Bar & Restaurant in Woodville. She graduated from Woodville High School in 1953.
She had four children and lived and worked in the Amery and New Richmond area for years, then in 1970 married Norman Levy and helped run a successful dairy farm in Comstock for 25 years.
She and Norm retired to Radisson and later divorced. She married Bob Johnson in 2007 and lived in Shell Lake. Bob passed in 2008, she then moved to Manitowoc.
Donna loved her dog Bo Rowdy, horses and the Green Bay Packers. Her fun loving personality and kind hearted spirit will be truly missed by all.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bob Johnson and her brother and sister-in-law Richard and Klaire Yakesh.
She is survived by two sons Jerry (Vicki) Roatch and Ike Vick, and two daughters, Shelly Dutilly (Terry Hurley) and Ruby (Jay) Ritchie; one brother, Gib Yakesh and one sister Marvelle (Mel) Glass and four grandchildren: Marie, Mark, Amber and Patrick.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 23, 2017 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the County Line Tavern Pavilion with prayer service and reflection at 1:30 p.m.
Cremation and private grave site service will be held later at the Cooks Valley Cemetery in Bloomer.
