Donald L. Wendt, 90, of Sturgeon Bay, beloved husband of 69 years of Geraldine (Kramer) Wendt, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Aurora Baycare Medical Center.
Don was born on August 20, 1928 in Antigo, WI, son of the late William and Freida (Helmig) Wendt. He retired after 41 years of service from the Door County Highway Department. He was also employed with Bissen Sand and Gravel and Lily Bay Asphalt as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine, four children: Nancy LaCrosse, Gary Wendt, Sandy Wendt, and Richard Wendt.
At Don's request there will be no services. Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
