Diane L. Walton

Diane Leigh Walton, age 67, of Green Bay, formerly of Wausaukee, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024, surrounded by family. She was born July 4, 1956 in Milwaukee, WI. She moved to Wausaukee, WI in 1957, where she resided until moving to Green Bay, WI in 1999.

Diane loved life and family. She loved traveling across country with her best friend, Steve.

Diane is survived by her children, Angela (Chris) Mullins, Green Bay, WI and Dale (Carrie) Nutt II, Amberg, WI; her best friend and love of her life, Steve Maltby, Green Bay, WI; her grandchildren: Molly (Robert) Bieber, Wausaukee, WI, Olivia Butzen, Platteville, WI, Casey Nutt, Amberg, WI and Nathan Nutt, Amberg, WI; great-granddaughter, Naomi Grace Bieber, Wausaukee, WI; her sisters: Patti Walton, Lutz, FL, Jacki (Terry) Turcotte, Kannapolis, NC, Kathleen Bauer, Green Bay, WI, Debbie (Steve) Arcand, Suamico, WI, Barbie (Pat) Elias, Wausaukee, WI, Melody (Rick) Arndt, De Pere, WI and Merri (Ray) Burnthorn, Suamico, WI and her brothers, Jim (Sherri) Walton and Doug (Leona) Walton, both of Maysville, NC. She is further survived by mother-in-law, Emmy Nutt, Amberg, WI, an aunt, June Griffiths, Roseburg, OR, uncle, Barry Hinytz, Menomonee Falls, WI, nieces, nephews, cousins, Steve's mother, Joan and his brothers, sisters and sisters-in-law, who were like family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Goldie and James Walton, her sister, Penny Nelson, her father-in-law, Melvin Nutt, the father of her children, Dale Nutt Sr. her second mother, Ellen Hinytz.

Per Diane's wishes, no services will be held.

Diane's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the oncology team at Froedtert for their care, compassion and for allowing her to continue her fight.
