Diane L. Schmitz, 61, of Abrams, WI passed away on Sunday, January 23rd, 2022. She was born on January 29th, 1960 to the late William and Elizabeth (Holtz) Schmitz in Marinette, WI.
Diane graduated from Crivitz High School. She went on to get an Associated Degree from NWTC. Diane worked for American Medical Security and several other jobs over the years.
In her free time, Diane enjoyed taking care of her best friends' children whenever she could. She loved them very much and considered them part of her family. Diane liked to spend time fishing, gardening, going camping, and being with her fur babies.
Diane is survived by her siblings: Dorothy Dudkiewicz, Joyce (Richard) Ledvina, Sharon Edlebeck, JoAnn (Dewey) Spencer, Steven Schmitz, and Janet Schmitz; special friend Bob Hazelwood who she loved very much. She is furthered survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Ernest and Billy Schmitz.
A Celebration of Diane's life will be held at a later date this summer.
