Diane D. Link, age 79 passed away on January 20, 2022, at a local memory care facility. She was born on February 23, 1942 in New London the daughter of the late Adam Roland and Roxanne VanLandghen. Diane graduated from Green Bay West in 1959 and furthered her education at Green Bay Vocational School. She was united in marriage to Robert Link on June 1, 1963 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Green Bay. Their marriage was blessed with two children. Diane worked for the Green Bay Packers for several years, first during the Vince Lombardi era and later during the Mike Holmgren era. During her Vince Lombardi tenure, she attended the first Super Bowl in Los Angeles, and later during the Mike Holmgren tenure, she attended Super Bowls XXXI and XXXII with her family. She was the proud owner of a Super Bowl XXXI Ring. Diane enjoyed shopping, golf, and spending time with her grandchildren. Diane and Bob enjoyed homes in Green Bay, Baileys Harbor, and wintering in South Carolina.
Diane is survived by her husband, Bob of 58 years, two children: Troy (Maureen) Link of Green Bay, and Wendy (Lane) Nelson of De Pere, four grandchildren: Michael Link, Matthew (fiancée Vanessa Frahm) Nelson of Madison, Ryan, and Megan Nelson; one brother, three sisters, two sisters-in-law, and further survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, parents-in-law, and two brothers-in-law.
The family will have a private service at a later date and internment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.
