Diane R. Johnson

Diane R. Johnson (Berge), 76, of De Pere, WI, formerly of Alpha, MI and Wrightstown, WI, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home surrounded by her loving family on January 1, 2021.

Diane was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother her entire life. Diane enjoyed camping in her hometown of Stanley, WI with her husband Alvin and her children. Diane also enjoyed playing cribbage with friends and family over the years. Diane enjoyed the Green Bay Packers and the old Westerns on Grit TV.

Diane is survived by four children: Lisa (Daniel) Henning of Sheboygan Falls, WI, Denise (Johnny) Roberts of Green Bay, WI, Amy (Jim) Vande Hey of Greenleaf, WI and Charles (Melissa) Johnson of Freedom, WI; grandchildren: Amanda (Ashley) Pitts, David Pitts, Katey (Gavin) Burns, Darryl (Abby) Hagenow, James (Jeannie Larson) Vande Hey, Shawn Vande Hey, Jessica Vande Hey, Elizabeth (Chase) Jetton and Julie Jetton; great-grandson Braidyn Lasee. Diane is further survived by her siblings: Leonard (Nancy) Berge of Neenah, WI, Elaine (Jerry) Hazuga of Thorp, WI, Kathy (Ron) Hera of Chippewa Falls, WI, Marjorie (Mark) Hagemyer of Hot Springs, AR, and brother-in-law Eugene Kolar of Franklin, WI.

Diane was preceded in death by her loving husband Alvin, parents Alfred & Eva Berge, father and mother-in-law Hans and Viola Johnson; sisters: Evelyn Kolar, Mary (Paul) Stauffacher along with her brother and sister-in-law Donald (Christine) Berge; along with Alvin's sister Beatrice (Milton) Grindle.

Visitation for Diane will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Newcomer- Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI 54301) from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. A Prayer Service will follow at 7:00 PM. Please be aware that masks are required to enter for Diane's visitation and service.
