Devon Stank, age 31, of De Pere, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, November 14, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 29, 1991 in Savannah, GA to Tracy Stank.
Devon and his mom relocated to her hometown of De Pere, WI after he was born. He graduated from West De Pere High School, Class of 2009. He was currently working at Keller Construction on a team that built commercial steel structures.
Devon was a talented athlete and avid sports fan. He played baseball and football, but his true passion was playing hockey while he was growing up. In more recent years, he enjoyed golfing whenever he had the chance. The Brewers and the Packers were his favorite sports teams and listening to music of any kind was also one of Devon's favorite past times. His family will fondly remember his special sense of humor and go-to quotes and nicknames for his loved ones such as "Goof Troop," "God Bless," "Imma Pray for Y'all" and "Long Story Short." Devon was a loving son, grandson and proud brother to Jovan.
Devon chose to give the gift of life to others through organ donation.
Devon is survived and will be dearly missed by his mother, Tracy Stank; his brother, Jovan Webb; grandma, Sandy Stank, step-dad, John Webb, Godparents, Ronnie VanDenHeuvel and Heidi Skaleski. He is further survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Tom Fitzgerald.
A celebration of Devon's life will be held at The Abbey Bar (303 Reid St., De Pere, WI), Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 4:30 PM.
Devon's family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Aurora BayCare Hospital, especially Dr. Mark Riedy and ICU RN, Kate, for their exceptional care and compassion.
