Dennis W. Barclay, 76 of Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born January 21, 1938 in Los Angeles, California the son of the late Dale and Phyllis (Whitelaw) Barclay.
Dennis retired after working 18.3 years for General Motors-Power Train, Toledo, Ohio in 2002. Prior to GM Dennis was a fork lift mechanic for Schneider International for 12 years.
He had a passion for his family and his dogs Ziva, Lacie, and Ruby. Dennis loved to race and watch NASCAR races as well as Packer games. He loved to tinker with his remote control cars. Linda and Dennis traveled the NASCAR circuit to enjoy the races.
Dennis is survived by his wife; Linda, daughters; Lori (Jack) Gensch, Julie (Bob) Sukowaty, Lorrie Harrington; son, Mark (Sharon) Barclay; brothers; Mike (Vicki) Barclay, Terry (Pat) Barclay; sister, Bonnie Ward; brothers-in-law; George and Don Kramer; grandchildren; Dan Carpenter, Tim (Jessie) Carpenter, Jordon Gensch, Kayla (Rob) Graham, Matt Sukowaty, Colton Sukowaty, Evan Sukowaty, John (Lauren) Barclay, Jeannette Barclay, Joey Barclay, Nic Harrington, Leah Ashworth; great grandchildren; Emilee, Brooklyn, Logan, Camden, Hadley Carpenter, and Grace Gensch.
Preceded in death by his mother-in-law; Gladys Kramer.
