Dennis J. Baenen

Dennis J. Baenen, age 57, of Ledgeview, joined his father in Heaven, April 6, 2024. He was born February 19, 1967 in Green Bay, son of the late Robert L. Baenen and Leola "Lea" (Lewins) Baenen.

He was a graduate of Green Bay Preble High School and worked for Emmons Business Interiors for over 2 decades. His coworkers became his work family and he was admired for his hard work and dedication to his career.

Dennis had an infectious smile and brought light into the lives he touched. He loved people and made friends wherever he went. Dennis enjoyed listening to music and attending Rock Fest in Cadot, WI each year, as well as many other concerts. He loved outdoor activities including camping, boating, fishing, golfing and biking. One of his favorite past times was tailgating for Packer games. Dennis had a strong faith and attended church regularly. He was a loving son, brother and friend to all who knew him, especially to his loving significant other, Ronette.

He will be sadly missed by his mother, Lea; 2 brothers, Steve (Debbie) and Todd (Betty); his sister, Sheila (Phil) Tanico; his significant other, Ronette Cox and her boys, Tyler and Jeremy and her entire extended family. He is furthered survived by his beloved nieces, Alicia Phillips (her boys, Ty and Kade) and Amberly (Jesse) Cassedy (her girls: Bailey, McKenzie and Avery); a nephew, Brent (Michelle) Baenen (their boys: Brooks, Fischer and River); other relatives and many, many friends.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), Monday, April 15, 2024 from 5 to 7 PM. A memorial service will follow at 7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to the family will be used for a memorial fund established at a later date.
