Denis J. Rolain

Denis J. Rolain, 71, of Green Bay, passed away on June 9, 2024 at his home surrounded by the people that loved him most. He was born on September 17, 1952 to Truxton and Eunice (Dietzler) Rolain in Green Bay. Denis attended St. Agnes Parochial School and later graduated from Premontre High School; he then furthered his education at Marquette University with a Bachelors in Liberal Arts. Denis worked many jobs, but the job he loved most was working as a Historical Interpreter for Heritage Hill. On July 17, 1981, he married Susan K Paape. Their marriage was blessed with two sons. Denis enjoyed gardening, listening to music, he was an avid Packer and Brewer fan, a hockey enthusiast; and always enjoyed watching his sons and grandsons play any sport. He took pride in being a handy man, measure twice, cut once! A place for everything and everything in its place. He treasured the time he spent with his family.

Denis is survived by his loving wife, Susan, two sons: Truxton J. "T.J." Rolain and Justin D. (Chelsea) Rolain and their children: Oliver and Max; he is further survived by other family and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, including Genevieve Rolain, who raised him after his mother passed at a young age; and one brother, Joseph.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 14, 2024, from 4:30 pm until 6:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave. with a Sharing of Memories at 6:00 pm.
