Delores M "Tootie" (Maloney) Gleffe, 91, of Green Bay, WI passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. She was born March 28, 1924 in Brookside, WI to the late Michael and Caroline (Larscheid) Maloney.
Delores proudly served her country in the U.S. Navy. On August 3, 1945 our mother married the love of her life the late Donald W. Gleffe. They were married for 69 years. Delores was a homemaker and later was the head cook at Saint Peter and Paul School. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to Florida every winter for many years, cooking holiday meals, cards, and spending the 1st Friday of the month with her sisters. Most of all Delores enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Delores is survived by her children, Mike, Bill (Sue), Patti, and Rob (Nancy); sisters, Mercedes, Dorothy, Betty, Joan; sister-in-law, Marion; eight grandchildren, Steph (Jim), Steven (Tracy), Aaron (Beth), Murray, Marty, Jenny (Ray), Amy (Jeremy), Rob (fiancée Nicole); great-grandchildren, Zach, Caleb, Madelyn, Trevor, Ava and Vincent.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her brother Michael Maloney.
Memorial visitation will be held at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay) on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 4 to 6:45 PM. A funeral service will follow at 7 PM. Burial will be in The Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI.
