Debra Ann (Phillips) Spencer, age 59, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at a local hospital. She was surrounded by family.
She was born in Green Bay, on November 18, 1955. She attended local schools, and was a graduate of Green Bay East High School. Debra was married to Amos "Lucky" Spencer on November 25, 1978 and together they raised three children. The family moved to Crivitz in 1992, where Debra worked for Saputo Cheese. She held numerous positions there; her latest was as a lab technician. Debra loved playing BINGO with friends, bowling and playing pranks. She enjoyed travel, and would like to have done more. She loved decorating and focusing on her home and especially enjoyed Christmas time. Her greatest love, however, was for her family. She will be sadly missed.
Debra leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of over 36 years, Lucky, her oldest son Gregory "Greg" Spencer of Green Bay, her daughter Tonya Spencer of Wrightstown and her younger son Matthew (Crickette) Spencer of Crivitz. She also leaves her grandchildren: Autumn and Sergio and her siblings: Tom Phillips, Terry Spencer, Mary Tenor, Randy (Diane) Phillips, Brad (Dora) Phillips, Marcus (Cookie) Phillips, all of Green Bay and Julie Phillips-Hengel of Milwaukee. In addition to her dear friend Debbie Wirz, her Saputo Cheese family and many nieces and nephews, Debra also leaves her dog, Toby.
The family will receive visitors at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay, WI 54301) on FRIDAY, October 23, 2015 from 4 to 8 PM. Visitation continues at the Funeral Home Saturday, from 10 to 11:45 AM. A funeral service will follow at 12 noon. Interment will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
For those wishing, memorials are appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
