Deborah A. "Debbie" Schmidt (Bohacheff), 53, Black Creek, passed away at St. Mary's Hospital on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 after a courageous fight with cancer. She was born on February 16, 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Helen Bushman and Victor Bohacheff. Debbie married Dale Schmidt on April 19, 1980. Debbie attended Sussex Hamilton High School. She later graduated from FVTC with a degree in Human Resources Management. Most recently, Debbie was employed as a Service Operations Manager at Copp's Food Center in Appleton.

Debbie loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and friends. She had special love for her dogs.

Debbie is survived by loving husband, Dale Schmidt ; son Adam (special friend, LaToya) Schmidt; daughter Tracy (Brent) Hood; brothers Ronald (Cheryl) Bohacheff, Richard (Olya) Bohacheff; her in-laws Roger and Patricia Schmidt; Randy (fiancée Ronna) Schmidt; Glen (Jane) Schmidt; grandchildren Devin, Autumn, Collin, and Claria Schmidt, Kyle and Alex Hood; close family friend Melissa (Mike) Kasper; family pets Spike and Gunner; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Debbie on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Seabald Park (locally known as South Park) in Black Creek, Wisconsin. A memorial picnic will be held beginning at 11:00 a.m. and continuing throughout the day. The park is located on the corner Hickory St. and E. Birch St. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
