Debby Kvam, 56, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay after a brief illness.
She was born on August 29, 1966 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to James and Sharron Schenker.
On May 11, 1996 she married the love of her life, Allan Kvam and they raised 2 boys together (Michael and Kevin), in Green Bay.
Debby was a member of Incarnation Lutheran Church in Green Bay where she taught Sunday School to the elementary children. As everyone knows, Debby was a big NASCAR fan and she was able to attend several races throughout the United States. Debby was also a huge pet advocate, caring for her own cat and volunteering at several local animal shelters.
When her boys were younger she was very involved with their activities including working with the Cub Scouts and helped out with their awards program. She always made sure the boys were at their soccer practice and other events around town. During her teen years she was very active in the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge 801. Even though she lived in a Minnesota Vikings house she remained a loyal Green Bay Packer fan.
Debby is survived by her husband, Allan and sons Michael (Carie) Kvam and Kevin Kvam as well as many other friends and family.
Debby was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for Debby will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions (340 S. Monroe Ave.) on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm and will be followed by a brief Celebration of Life service at 5:00 pm.
Debby's family would like to thank the staff at the ICU of St. Mary's Hospital and Unity Hospice for their care and compassion.
