Dawn M. Phillips

November 22, 1969 — December 20, 2020

Dawn M. Phillips, 51, passed away unexpectedly with her family by her side on Sunday, December 20, 2020. She was born on November 22, 1969 to the late Bob and Bette Phillips. She was raised with unconditional love and she passed on that love to her life partner, Rick; her sons Alex, son of Dawn and Steve, and Matt; daughter in law, Morgan; as well as her granddaughters Bette and Lillianne.

Her love was profoundly on display each and every day for her loving cat, Mollie, as well as her late dogs Rockie and Mollie. She enjoyed taking care of them while eating her veggie subs and watching her TV shows. Dawn was always a fighter who overcame many challenges in life. She had a huge heart and had so much love to give to anyone and everyone. She always wore her heart on her sleeve. She was a loving mother and always had pure intentions. Dawn was a very proud and loving grandmother and her granddaughters brought her so much joy. She always loved and enjoyed her hair appointments with her friend, Mary.

Dawn will be sadly missed, never forgotten and always in our hearts.

She is survived by the love of her life, Rick Atkinson, his son, Matt Atkinson; Alex (Morgan) Kotenberg; granddaughters: Bette and Lillianne Kotenberg; brother, Brian Phillips; niece and nephew: Brianna and Cas; great niece, Riley; Steve Kotenberg; her birth mother, Mary Ann Skarrow; half siblings: Khalil and Saaid. She is further survived by many extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Bette Phillips.
