David A. Neumann

David Alan Neumann, 65, of De Pere, passed away peacefully after a hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer on August 2, 2024 at home with his wife by his side. He bravely battled numerous cancers and other health issues throughout his life.

He was born on August 25, 1958 to John W. and Barbara (Goska) Neumann in Green Bay, WI. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1976. David worked in the electric motor industry, most recently at EMS/Kenrich. He retired in 2011 due to medical issues. In March of 1977, David married his first wife, Linda and together they had two daughters. He later married Elaine Lorenz in April of 2003, gaining two sons. 

David was a nurturer, always putting others above himself. He also was a huge animal lover. He loved life and playing goofy games with his grandkids. He enjoyed going to festivals, especially if there was corn on the cob or ribs. He was a fan of NASCAR and the Green Bay Packers. David was passionate about music including DJing and dancing. 

He will be forever missed, especially for his unique sense of humor.

David is survived by his loving wife, Elaine; children: Sarah (Mike) Coutley, Jessica (Ian Zimmermann) Neumann, Daniel (Marcy) Lorenz and Terry Lorenz; grandchildren: Emilie (William) Wilkerson, Logan Coutley, Lucas Zimmermann, Evelyn and Leila Lorenz; great-grandchildren: Connor and Kadin Wilkerson; siblings: Kim (Lynn) Neumann, Neal (Deb) Neumann, Audrey (Joe Jr.) Naliborski and Scott (Tina) Neumann; in-laws: John (Nancy) Warns, Peter (Tricia) Warns, Pat (Jim) Eloranta, Mike (Benita) Warns, Kathy Warns and Dennis (Dawn) Warns; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law; granddaughter, Ellie May; and brother-in-law, Rich Warns.

An evening visitation will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Receptions, Funerals, 340 S. Monroe Ave, Green Bay, WI. A morning visitation will be held the next day at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a time of sharing for David at 11:00 a.m.
