David F. Maloney, age 72, passed away on Saturday evening, March 27, 2021 at the Jack and Engrid Meng Hospice Residence. David fought many health battles throughout his life, and now he is living in the presence of his Savior.
David was born on May 22, 1948 to the late Patrick and Helen Maloney, the 5th of 6 active boys. David had worked for most of his adult life in the paper industry running custom converting paper machines. David loved to travel in his early years. In 2004, he and his wife Kim began hosting exchange students from all over the world that would last for 16 years. David was a great host dad and had kept in touch with many of their former students up until he died. David loved to talk to people and help them solve any problem they may have.
David is survived by his wife Kim, his children Tina, Tammy, Mandy, and Jordan, along with two exchange student "daughters" Thao and Mimi, his father and mother-in-law Ken and Diane Dellis and many sisters and brothers-in-law. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceding David in death are his infant son Tommy (1971), his parents, and brothers.
David's family wishes to thank Kim's family for their love, prayers, and support. Thanks also goes to Green Bay Oncology, the staff on the 9th floor St. Vincent's Hospital, and the staff at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence for their wonderful care of David. Also a thank you goes to all of our neighbors for their kindness, and for helping us out through this hard time. Thank you to the staff and families at King School for all of their kindness and support.
